Eurocultured was a street festival combining street art, live music, breakdancing and action sports area. Event also included various workshops for audience. With over 200 artists and performers from over 10 different countries, we organized free public event for the European Capital of Culture 2011. Over 15 000 people enjoyed stunning acts at the sunny streets and river banks in Turku.
Live music included bands such as Jätkäjätkät, Riot Jazz (UK), KKC Orchestra (FRA), Bad Ass Brass Band, Felix Zenger, Jon Kennedy (UK), Oszibarack (POL), Shine 2009 and Zebra & Snake just to name a few.
Top European live artists were Will Barras (UK), Elph (UK), Mr. Kern (FRA), Sat One (GER), Asbestos (IRE), Lucy Mclauchlan (UK) and Duncan Jago (UK) supported by many great Finnish artists.
In action sports area we had show´s of BMX, Skateboarding, Parkour, Footbag and free jumping to Bagjump.
Soul was in charge of concept planning and overall production of the event, including Pr & marketing, social media, promo event in Helsinki, hospitality services, planning and arrangements of Finnish acts and action sports content.
Event was planned and produced together by Soul Productions Oy and Spearfish Ltd who has created original Eurocultured concept.
